Shielfield Park can be reached by the following routes:

 

By Foot

 

    The ground is approximately 1 mile south of Berwick town centre and is situated behind Shielfield Terrace, (B6354 Etal Road), Tweedmouth. Follow the road over the Royal Tweed Bridge (New Bridge) and take the first left at the roundabout at the end of the bridge. Continue until reaching the railway arches from where the ground is clearly sign posted. Turn right at the arches into Etal Road where Shielfield Terrace is the row of houses to the right. The ground is situated behind the houses approximately 300 yards from the junction.

By Car


From the north:

    Follow the A1 Berwick by-pass over the River Tweed and take the first left at the East Ord roundabout. At the next roundabout go ahead, second exit, in to Cornhill Road, and then turn left at the end of the road into Shielfield Terrace (Etal Road). The entrance to the ground is approximately 100 yards on the left and sign posted.

 

From the south:

    Follow the A1 Berwick by-pass until reaching the junction with the B6354. Turn left onto the B6354 at the junction and continue until reaching the ground which is situated approximately 100 yards past the next junction left (Cornhill Road) and sign posted.

 

From the west:

    At the East Ord roundabout go straight ahead, second exit. At the next roundabout go ahead, second exit, in to Cornhill Road, and then turn left at the end of the road into Shielfield Terrace (Etal Road). The entrance to the ground is approximately 100 yards on the left and sign posted.

 

    There is a large car park at the rear of the ground. A 50p parking charge is levied with the ticket doubling as a 50/50 half-time draw ticket.

By Bus


    The local bus route from the town centre is the B2 Service: Morrisons – Golden Square – Prior Park service. The nearest bus stop to the ground is in Shielfield Terrace, only a few yards from the ground.

By Train
 

    The nearest railway station is Berwick-upon-Tweed, which is situated on the East Coast Main Line, and a frequent service operates at various stages during the day. The ground is approximately 1.5 miles from the station. A taxi service operates from outside the station or, alternatively, fans can use the local bus service as detailed above.
